Kathy Liebert: One of the Most Victorious Women in Poker

Kathy Liebert is one of the most established female professional poker players. Throughout her entire career, she was able to notch several important victories en route to poker glory. As of now, she has already earned 11 first place finishes in some of the most prestigious tournaments in poker.

Liebert has already achieved so much in such a short period of time. She already owns a World Series of Poker bracelet which she considers a major achievement. In a span of 10 years, she has already accumulated a grand total of $3,651,282 from her winnings. After giving up her former career as an executive in the business firm Dunn & Bradstreet.

The humble beginnings of Liebert can be traced back to various card rooms in Colorado. As years passed by, she was able to transform herself into one of the most respected players of the game. Through perseverance and hard work, she was able to master the art of the game of poker.

The professional career of Liebert in poker was launched at the 28th yearly installment of the World Series of Poker. She finished 18th and 2nd respectively in the Pot Limit Hold'em and the Limit 7 Card Stud for the Ladies. In this world class poker event, she started something that would eventually make her one of the most victories women in poker.

The career of Liebert blossomed throughout the years, achieving first place finishes in numerous events including a No Limit Hold'em event at the L.A. Poker Classic in February 2000, a Limit Hold'em event at the Ladies' Poker Dream Weekend in September 2000, and a No Limit Hold'em event at the Orleans Open Poker Tournament in July 2001. These are some of the major achievements of Liebert in the international poker circuit.

Up until now, Liebert continues to solidify her place among some of the best women in poker. She started off the year 2007 with a 20th place performance at a No Limit Hold'em event of the L.A. Poker Classic. She made some serious noise in March and April 2007 after she finished second place in two different occasions. These include a No Limit Hold'em event at the Foxwood Poker Classic and another at the WPT World Championship tournaments of the World Poker Tour.

Liebert is indeed one of the most successful women in poker. All her achievements and consistent style of play can attest to this fact. Expect more impressive finishes as she continues to compete in the professional poker circuit for years to come.
